If you give time to everyone who asks for it, you will have no time left for yourself. There are so many people that only want a minute or five minutes or even if you just have thirty seconds to talk to them that if you give in to their demands for your time that you will never get anything done that you are supposed to. Now, for what is important to you, you need to spend the time to make sure it is done right, but it can be very hard to figure out what needs to be important to you. I like things that are digests of materials that other people have put time into or things that come highly recommended because that means that a lot of other people have already vetted it and I am probably not wasting my time reading or doing it.
